Sewer Lift Station for Building 7633, Lackland AFB, TX
This project was for the construction of a new lift station to replace the existing lift station that was past its useful life. The project included a new building, new standby generator, new transformer and all associated pumps, motors and electrical work. Specialized construction was required to account for poor soil conditions requiring the Pump room slab to be 23 feet below grade and set on 6 foot deep piers. The project also included demolition of the existing lift station building and associated equipment and disposal in accordance with environmental requirements.

All piping was American Water Works (AWWA) C900 PVC pipe. This project was accomplished as a standalone project; however, another similar project in Area 5000 was awarded at the same time resulting in the requirement for HCR to perform both projects at the same time.
