Hangar Doors, Sheppard AFB, TX
This was a Design-Build project to renovate hangar doors in two facilities located at Sheppard AFB, TX. Work consisted of advancing the government furnished hangars design concept to 100% complete design, and then constructing the renovations in compliance with the design. Actual work completed included removal of the rolling doors, structural modifications to the hangar, and modifications to the concrete threshold, electrical modifications, fire alarm modifications and the installation of new vertical lift fabric doors. Work was accomplished on an active taxiway with no impact to taxiway operations.
